What's new at Property Market Data

Each change below is something you can see or use, with the day it went live. The newest is first.

  1. Guides for estate agents

The first three guides written for estate agents are published under Estate Agents, alongside the guides for buyers and sellers.

  2. Free valuation tool page for estate agents

A page explaining the free estimate box an agent can add to their own website and what a visitor sees when they use it.

  3. Free estimate box matches your website

The free estimate box can take the colours, font, sizes and width of the website it sits on, and now always gives the best figure the data supports, saying when more information is needed.

  4. Reports read a property's own sales back to 1995

A property's earlier sales are now read from HM Land Registry's full history, so a missing previous sale no longer drops out of the report. The flood zone lookup now asks the Environment Agency for the exact point rather than a box around it.

  5. Guides: 88 guides for buyers and sellers

The Guides section opened with 88 plain-English guides on valuing, buying and selling a home, each with its sources listed.

  6. Expert Property Review

A written review of your property report by a member of our team is now available as a separate purchase.

  7. Estate agent pages show the terms in plain sight

The pricing page now shows the setup fee, the VAT note, the term and the number of districts still available on the page itself, before anything is typed.
